Backup and restore


As with troubleshooting, the backup and restore procedures depend on what part of FIM we are talking about. As always, the FIM CM part is basically treated as a standalone product in this case.

Initially, I planned to have many pages in this book dedicated to this topic but realized it would end up being more or less a copy of the online guidelines Microsoft provides. So instead, I will point you to those guidelines and give you a short summary of the main problems I have seen when it comes to backup and restore.
