Enabling NAP on URA


Before you enable NAP in the URA configuration console, you first need to install and configure an HRA and NPS. These are roles that you need to install using the regular role wizard. You also need to configure your CA to issue the appropriate certificates, and configure it to automatically issue the certificates and the proper permissions. This is beyond the scope of this book, but if you're new to NAP, the following links contain more information, as well as a lab-guide specifically about NAP and DirectAccess. The guide is for Windows 2008 R2 DA, but the NAP and CA setup portions in it are relevant for URA as well:
