In this chapter, we have learned about developing custom pages using Visualforce and we have used the knowledge of Apex coding, which we learned in Chapter 7, Custom Coding with Apex, by implementing the custom controllers and controller extensions. We have covered not only Apex controllers, but also standard controllers and standard list controllers. The other main section was building custom Visualforce component which was used as an encapsulated and reusable component in Visualforce. The next chapter will cover building reports and dashboards in the Force.com platform.
