In this chapter, you followed the entire path of spatial analysis, from raising questions to providing concrete answers, that is, finding a specific place and objects on a map. You explored some basics of suitability analysis and saw how it defines and interprets spatial relations between objects. Also, you explored a lot of operations related to data preprocessing: rasterization, reclassification, raster algebra performance, and so on. Finally, you reviewed spatial queries that are based on overlaying spatial objects and analyzing spatial relationships between them.
Executing analysis operations step by step is good when you learn, but if you have a lot of data and limited time to provide the answer, then you should improve the performance of your analysis. This can be done with the QGIS Processing framework. It provides access to hundreds of geoprocessing tools (from the simplest to the most sophisticated).
