Using the View Results Tree listener


One of the most often used listeners in JMeter is the View Results Tree listener. This listener shows a tree of all sample responses, giving you quick navigation of any sample's response time, response codes, response content, and so on. The component offers several ways to view the response data, some of which allow you to debug CSS/jQuery, regular expressions, and XPath queries, among other things. In addition, the component offers the ability to save responses to file, in case you need to store them for offline viewing or run some other processes on them. Along with the various bundled testers, the component provides a search functionality that allows you to quickly search for the responses of relevant items.
