Creating a directory


When an application stores data in many files, it is beneficial to organize them in directories. Of course, it is possible to easily create a folder, as you will see in this recipe.

As an example, you will design a simple page with the Create directories button. Once you click on it, a set of directories (with subdirectories) will be created. Such a project will be used also in the following recipes to add additional features regarding the management of directories and files. Let's start!

To prepare the example that creates a set of directories, together with subdirectories, perform the following steps:
