Configuration

Visual Studio Code is incredibly configurable and extensible. It can and should become an essential part of your tool belt to develop great PowerShell code and, moreover, manage your entire release process. Since its inception, we have used it regularly and with great success.

The key to a great development experience with Visual Studio Code is its customizability. It feels a bit like furnishing your apartment: it is overwhelming at first, and then you discover the great possibilities of interior design and make a wonderful home for yourself.

The most important shortcuts in this endeavor are Ctrl + , to immediately access the settings, and Ctrl + Shift + P to access the command palette. We promise that both will make your life easier and improve your experience with VSCode immediately.
