Creating a new solution package scenario

As we have seen throughout this chapter, all new configurations extend the standard functionality of the platform and are packaged into a solution package.

For this scenario, your user must have either the System Customizer or Administrator role.

This section presents a simplified scenario to bring together all the material presented throughout this chapter. We will create a new entity for product rating, with several rating fields, and package it into a solution called product rating. In Chapter 13, Core Administration Concepts, we will see how to handle permissions for a user to access this new functionality. So, let's get started.
