Power Automate is a new Microsoft platform for developing and managing workflows. With SharePoint Server 2019 (and previous versions), you can use SharePoint Designer and Workflow Manager to create business workflows to perform tasks such as automating document approvals. However, these tools are largely limited to working with data inside the SharePoint environment, reducing the scope of impact that a workflow can have.
