Connecting VB to VB Studio and a Git repository

In this section, we'll look at how to connect VB to VB Studio to manage the VB code in the Git repository. Once VB is connected to VB Studio, you will be able to manage your VB app code using the Git repository.

The following are the steps to connect the VB app to the VB Studio project:

  1. Open any one of the VB applications from the Visual Builder console. For this demonstration, open the VBCSBook application.
  2. Click on the Git icon in the top-right corner of the page, and click the Configure Visual Builder Studio Credentials option as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. The previous action will open the Configure Visual Builder Studio Credentials dialog box. Click on the Add Credentials button from the opened dialog box.
