Focus – getting work done

Now that you know it is essential to collect, aggregate, and analyze data to make better decisions by reshaping your routine and work habits, it is time to protect your schedule.

Kevin Kruse, the author of 15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management, argues that you must create focus time to work on your most important task. To get work done, it is mandatory that you set aside some focus time:

You can configure and personalize your focus plan by going to Settings and selecting how much time you would like to schedule every day (Figure 3.4). Once this is done, MyAnalytics will schedule appointments according to your availability on your Microsoft Outlook calendar. Besides scheduling appointments to block focus time on your agenda, you will get rich information based on your data and insights on the Focus dashboard (Figure 3.5):
