Introducing Microsoft Team Live Events

Teams Live Events allows for users in your organization to broadcast video and meeting content to large online audiences. Live events are meant for a one-to-many type of communication in which the host is doing most of the interaction. The online audience will not be participating other than listening or, if configured, partaking in a Question and Answer session (Q and A session) or a Yammer conversation. Yammer is an enterprise social network dedicated to your organization. You can create a community within Yammer by topic or department and have live events integrated there.

As an administrator, keep in mind that the maximum audience size is 10,000 attendees, the duration of the event cannot be longer than four hours, and you can host up to 15 concurrent Live Events in a single Microsoft 365 organization or tenant.
