13.7 Summary

In this chapter, we looked at matplotlib and how we can draw points, lines, curves, surfaces, pie charts, bar charts, and scatter plots. While this is a powerful module, it violates the Zen of Python, especially regarding one and only one way of doing something. [ZEN] There are many things you can do at either the plt or axes level. I gave you examples of each, but I prefer the latter.

We also learned how to create and use 1- and 2-dimensional numpy arrays. These have many applications beyond plotting in scientific computing, AI, and data science.
