14.10 Summary

In this chapter, we learned the fundamental concepts of descriptive statistics and saw how to use numpy and matplotlib for computation and visualization. We then moved on to pandas, a highly sophisticated Python package for reading, writing, and analyzing DataFrames. We revisited statistics to show the ease with which pandas allows us to examine and summarize large and small datasets.

The next chapter concludes this book, but for the appendices, references, and indices. I will provide a brief survey of using Python for machine learning. This knowledge will enable you, I hope, to move on to more advanced books and articles to understand the full breadth of Python tools for artificial intelligence.
