Merging duplicate contacts

Duplicate contacts can lead to conflicting or outdated information in your CRM. Imagine trying to reach out to a client, only to realize you’ve been working off of two different sets of contact details. It’s a recipe for embarrassment and frustration.

Keap makes it easy to consolidate duplicate records.

Checking for duplicate records

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Settings page and choose Data Cleanup:

  1. Keap provides a comprehensive explanation of duplicates. When you’re done reviewing this material, click the Next button to continue.
  2. Choose who to check:
    1. Check all records. (May take a long time).
    2. Check all records that haven’t been marked as duplicates already.
    3. Check records that haven’t been checked already.
