Using Mu to get a REPL on the micro:bit

This recipe will build on the approach we covered in the previous recipe. Just as loading your scripts onto the board is essential, so is the REPL when it comes to debugging your scripts. The REPL will give you a much richer interface when you are trying to experiment with the board or trying to figure out what's wrong with your code. In the REPL, you can get tracebacks and see the output of print statements.

Getting ready

You will need to have the Mu text editor installed and configured, as well as your micro:bit board connected to your computer.
