Organizational architecture
The basic concept is that a back-end distribution center will act on behalf of a franchisor. The distribution center will supply inventory for each order based on web orders and store orders. Each store operates as a satellite office and runs independently, but is integrated with the central distribution center. Inventory can be optimized by means of integration. The reporting data is available in real time at all locations.
