Retrieving data using children and descendants member set functions
In this recipe, we will create a report that returns members based on the specified member set functions. The strength of using member set functions in reporting is obvious when you consider the ability to make a change in one location, then have all reports change from changes made in the Essbase outline. This is valuable in terms of time savings and also has qualitative value as it would be easy to forget to make a change to a report that is not used often.
Getting ready
Click on the Start menu, select Oracle | Financial Studio Report | Financial Studio Report, enter your User ID, enter your password, modify the Server UR

if you are not using SSL.
How to do it...
