Adding a spreadtable to a form


We are now going to add some more advanced features to our forms. In CRM there is a form that allows us to create spreadtables. To create a spreadtable we will need to complete the following tasks:

  • Adding the CRM Administrator responsibility

  • Configuring a spreadtable

  • Adding a tab page

  • Adding the JTF_GRID object group

  • Adding a block

  • Adding an item

  • Adding a library

  • Adding code to manage the grid

  • Adding code to populate the grid

  • Testing the form

Adding the CRM Administrator responsibility

The first thing we need to do is add a CRM Administrator responsibility. This is the responsibility that allows us to configure our spreadtable.

How to do it...

To add a CRM Administrator responsibility, perform the following:

  1. 1. Log in to Oracle with the System Administrator responsibility.

  2. 2. Navigate to Security | User | Define and the Users window will open.

  3. 3. Press F11 to enter a query.

  4. 4. Enter your user name in the User Name field and press Ctrl + F11.
