We will run the AM tester using the following steps and see how the components work in action:
Right-click on
EmpDirectoryModuleand select the Run option from the menu.When the AM tester is ready, click on the view link created. In this case, it will be
EmpVOToDeptVOLink2.This will open records of the
ACOUNTINGdepartment. You will see that there are only three employees in this department, from theHRSchemadatabase we created in Chapter 2, Getting Started with ADF.Click on the Forward button to see that the data changes as per the action. Now you will see that the
RESEARCHdepartment has five employees within it.Traverse to the
OPERATIONSdepartment; you will not see any employees within this department.Now we are going to create a new department named
HR.Click on the + (add) icon for the department table—you will see a new record created for you.
