The task is assigned to participants who can view it, add comments and attachments, but cannot modify or complete the task. It's just like a notification and no one is supposed to act on it. We will cover two list builder patterns for the FYI routing patterns. The remaining patterns are quite similar, as their behavior is to just notify participants. The process token remains with the BPM process, the control is not assigned to the human workflow, and the main process executes subsequent activities.
The task will be assigned from the starting participant to the top participant/level. The flow of the assigned task will show you the task assigned from the starting to the top level/participant. All participants will receive the task. The control will not get assigned to the task, and the token remains with the BPM process. The BPM process will move ahead to subsequent activities.
