Managing the Microsoft Teams channel settings

Each channel in a team has its own channel settings. These are found by selecting the More options ellipsis next to a channel's name and selecting Manage channel, as shown in Figure 8.5:

  • Channel moderation
  • Channel analytics

Let's start with channel moderation.

Channel moderation

As a team owner, you can enable channel moderation for a team. This means an owner can choose who in the team can start new posts and reply to existing posts. Channel moderation is different in a team's default/general channel compared to the additional/standard channels.
