Throughout the chapters, you'll learn about all the policies relating to messaging, teams, meetings, and more; get to grips with the settings; and explore configuration options that a Teams administrator would encounter in their day-to-day responsibilities. You'll also discover best practices for rolling out and managing Teams services for users within your Microsoft 365 tenant as you explore each objective in detail. Chapter 8 – Planning and Managing Channels

  1. A. Dale is not a member of the private channel's parent team

Explanation: You can only add private channel members if the individual is already a member of the private channel's parent team. Private channel membership is a subset of the overall team's membership. For example, if you're not already a member of a team called Mark 8 Project Team, Mary would first have to make you a team member to be able to add you to the private Contracts channel.

  1. B and C. Enable channel moderation and add the power user members to moderators

Explanation: Channel moderation is used to restrict members' ability to post in particular channels. To use this, you'd need to first enable channel moderation for the channel in question, then add members as moderators of that channel to grant them posting permission.
