Understanding Microsoft Secure Score

Based on Microsoft Digital Defense Report (MDDR) 2023, the top four threats and attack vectors were identity attacks, ransomware encounters, targeted phishing, and business email compromise (BEC) attacks. In all these scenarios, the better the environment security posture is, the lower the likelihood of an attack succeeding.
