Integrations

By combining secure score information with other security data sources, organizations can gain deeper insights and better manage their overall security posture, as well as be able to track the history related to secure score changes. For continuous export and reporting, Secure Score provides various mechanisms that can be used. Let’s address these in the next section.

MDC secure score

MDC provides an option for continuous export of different content types (recommendations, secure score, alerts, and regulatory compliance) to external sources such as SIEM, SOAR, or ITSM systems through Event Hubs. There is also an option to use Azure Log Analytics as an export target if an organization would like to export data to a dedicated Log Analytics or Sentinel instance instead as we can see in Figure 7.18. This can be established through the Azure portal or API.
