This is an introduction to the brand new capability of VMware Horizon 6, Cloud Pod Architecture.

Horizon Cloud Pod Architecture's main features are not only high availability, but the ability to scale-out virtual desktops that are provided by View 6. Now, the virtual desktops can be deployed across multiple data centers or sites and then managed globally through a single administration console. Cloud Pod Architecture will create the foundation for deploying virtual desktops from different locations (including global locations), along with the benefit of centralizing the operations and management of that View infrastructure.

Cloud Pod Architecture will allow end users access to their vDesktops from anywhere in the world and by using the nearest data center location it will ensure the best end user experience.
