When you change the Horizon Workspace Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), you may receive many different error messages as shown in the following screenshot:

Pretty much all the issues that you may get during the change of the FQDN are related to communication issues. When changing the FQDN, all the appliances must be able to successfully communicate with the gateway-va appliance using the new FQDN and SSL. If the certificate is not trusted, you will not succeed in changing the FQDN.

A good practice when troubleshooting changing FQDN issues is to first verify the access using the FQDN in a web browser. Secondly, try to browse from each virtual appliance to the FQDN using cURL, a command-line-based browser: http://curl.haxx.se/.

Please remember, the only supported deployment method for external access to your Horizon Workspace is to use an external load balancer / reverse proxy between your external clients and the Horizon Workspace gateway. You should...
