Introducing Edge services


NSX Edge gateway is a virtual machine that provides services such as Network Address Translation, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, DNS relay, Virtual Private Network, load balancing, and routing functionality. Firstly, there is no rule of thumb that says we should leverage all these features using one single Edge. For true multi-tenancy, we can deploy multiple Edges for different features' use cases.
