To summarize, what we have seen in this chapter is that the vast majority of multiple site troubleshooting can be performed right there in the Configuration Manager console. There is a considerable depth of information available without having to dive deep into log files or other areas. That said, however, there are still a number of log files available to confirm those suspicions. Don't forget we can also add those parameters to the console for our day-to-day troubleshooting tasks. We have also looked at some of the surrounding technology and systems that contribute to the running of Configuration Manager. We don't need to be an expert in these complementary systems but a little can go a long way and this is not the right book to teach about SQL or Active Directory in detail.
