Applying settings to the App-V client using Group Policy


Features of the App-V client can be centrally managed through Group Policy; this method of management is a particularly useful way of assigning the publishing servers that the client should contact to retrieve lists of applications to present to the user.

Getting ready

It is assumed that you have completed the steps in the previous chapter. In addition, you should create a central store for Group Policy objects within your domain; a guide to how to create this store can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929841.
