High Availability checklist

In order to verify that your environment is highly available, check the following failure scenarios to ensure that the environment can handle them:

  • Power off each host and verify all the VMs are migrated and powered on, on other hosts

  • Verify there are enough resources for a single host failure

  • Power off the switch and verify the backup switch is configured correctly

  • Test single NIC failure for each host
