Chapter 6. Experiencing the Cloud Services – the Tenant's Point of View

After five hard-core technical chapters, this chapter will be relaxed and rewarding. In this chapter, we will look at our cloud set up that we deployed earlier from a customer or tenant's point of view. We will register a new tenant in the cloud by subscribing to a plan that we created earlier. We will then request and manage cloud services available in the subscribed plan.

We will be covering the following topics:

  • Tenant's registration and accounts management

  • Creating and managing virtual networks

  • Standalone VMs – provisioning and management

  • Virtual machine Role – provisioning and management
