Integrating SMA with Windows Azure Pack


The following steps are required to integrate SMA with Windows Azure Pack by registering SMA endpoints:

  1. Log into the WAP management portal for administrators.

  2. Browse through the automation workspace:

  3. Click on Register the Service Management Automation Endpoint.

  4. Enter the SMA endpoint details along with some credentials:

  5. The SMA endpoint will be visible in the WAP portal upon a successful registration.

  6. The automation workspace under the WAP portal can now be used for all operations related to SMA. The DASHBOARD page displays statuses and statistics about runbooks and jobs throughout the cloud. Similar dashboards can also be accessed per runbook:
