Provisioning the RDSH AppStack


At this stage of the process, you have built a server and configured it with the RDSH role, and then installed the App Volumes Agent onto it. We are going to break the provisioning process into two stages.

Firstly, we will walk through a reminder of how to perform the provisioning process and then secondly, as we are installing applications on an RDSH server, we will detail the application installation process, as it is different from installing onto a desktop machine.

Starting the provisioning process

Open a console to the App Volumes Manager server and launch the App Volumes Manager management console. You will now see the login screen, as shown in the following screenshot:

Enter the username and password of the administrator account and then click the Login button.

From the App Volumes Manager console, click the VOLUMES menu option (1), and then click the AppStacks tab (2).

Now click the Create AppStack button (3), as shown in the following diagram:
