Accessing the Apps Manager on PWS


What is the Cloud Foundry Apps Manager?

  • A web interface for managing organizations, spaces, apps, and other settings
  • It offers a subset of the management features available through the cf CLI
  • It provides you with a marketplace of services you can attach and leverage in your application development

Recall that, after signing up for the PWS account and logging in to it, we had a glimpse of the Apps Manager UI running at https://console.run.pivotal.io. Now with a simple app deployed, you can see the app named hello world-RANDOM-WORD running successfully in the Apps Manager.

The information includes the status, the number of instances running, when the app was last pushed, and the route, Cloud Foundry's term for the application URL:
