In this chapter, we have covered the detailed yet important topic of capacity management in vRealize Operations 6.6. We discussed what the resource capacity models are. We have also discussed how to set vRealize Operations 6.6 capacity management policies, and more importantly, why a certain policy should be set over another, based on your environment. At the end, we covered how projects, custom datacenters, and profiles further help us perform capacity management and planning in our environment.
In the next chapter, we will see how we can use vRealize Operations Tags, application groups, and custom groups in conjunction with Super Metrics to create dashboards that provide business-oriented value to stakeholders.
