View Client command-line options


VMware has made available a number of command-line options that make it possible for organizations to automate both the installation and operation of the View Client software. This section will provide information about these options and show some common examples of how they are used.

Command-line options available during installation

The View Client for Windows is provided in a Microsoft Installer (MSI) format that supports a silent installation. The installer also supports custom configuration by allowing multiple configuration options to be specified at the time of installation. The following table provides a list of the different configuration options that can be configured using the command line at the time of installation.
