Understanding file server maintenance and management tasks


In all data centers, it is normal to perform maintenance and management tasks on the file servers. DPM will understand and adapt to the maintenance tasks performed on the file server; more importantly, DPM also understands the management tasks of the file server workload. This recipe will provide you with an understanding of how DPM interacts with common file server maintenance and management tasks.

Getting ready

With the introduction of this recipe, we will list the possible scenarios for a file server workload's management tasks. They are:
