To access Azure services, you obviously need an account. An account can be one of the following types:
An organizational account: This can either be a Windows Azure Active Directory account or an Active Directory account used in your organization. Examples of accounts are
<[email protected]>or<[email protected]>.A Microsoft account: This is an account used to access Microsoft services like TechNet. A Microsoft account is the new name for what used to be called a Windows Live ID. You can use any e-mail address as an account name.
The preferred access to Microsoft Azure is by using organizational accounts. These are sourced from Microsoft Azure Active Directory, which means that the administrator has control over the accounts.
