In this chapter, we have learnt about advanced operations that can be performed with virtual machines such as deployment, updating sizes, and migration of virtual machines and templates using vMotion. We also learnt about the requirements and processes of storage vMotion and Enhanced vMotion. We also understood the purpose and usage of virtual machine snapshots.
In the next chapter, we will have a deeper look at resource management and performance monitoring. Especially, we will learn about memory commitment and resource pools. We will also learn how to implement and manage events and alarms.
