This recipe will show you how to deploy App-V client updates through Microsoft SCCM. A key advantage of SCCM over Group Policy deployment is that you do not need to combine the hotfix with the original App-V installer to deploy the update.
It is assumed that you have installed the App-V client installed on a Windows 8.1 client.
In addition, you should download the latest App-V hotfix; the latest information on App-V hotfixes can be found on the App-V team blog at http://blogs.technet.com/b/appv/. This example will use App-V 5 SP3 Hotfix 2, which is listed under Microsoft KB3060458.
