As part of the normal application deployment life cycle, administrators may unpublish an App-V package, and in doing so, remove it from use from all users. Deleting a package removes all references to it from the management database while leaving the source files intact.
To complete these steps, you will need to complete all of the steps in the first recipe of this chapter.
The following list shows you the high-level steps involved in this recipe and the tasks required to complete this recipe (all of the actions in this recipe will take place on a domain-joined Windows 8.1 computer):
Log in to the App-V Management Console.
Unpublish the package.
Verify that the package has been unpublished by testing.
