Summary

In this chapter, we looked at how vRealize Infrastructure Navigator can extend the visibility you have of your vSphere environment.

We first looked at how the solution is deployed, configured, and then integrated into vRealize Operations.

The use, and creation, of Service and Application definitions was examined next, and we looked at both out of the box and custom examples.

Finally, we saw how the solution is integrated with vRealize Operations to give you the visibility you need within a single, central, administrative tool.

In the next chapter, we are going to look at another adjacent administrative tool, vRealize Log Insight.
