Rich multi-dimensional graphics are here to stay. Three dimensional (3D)graphics are computer-generated graphics that use a three-dimensional representation of geometric data. High definition (HD) is a relatively new term in computer display technology that proposes to display HD video on computer screens. Familiar screen resolutions for HD are 720p and 1080p. 720p and 1080p refer to the width of the screen in pixels. This follows a similar display geometry that the television industry is embarking on. The reason that HD in computer displays are aligning with HD in television displays is video.
HDX in the television industry is simply HD pixel formats encoded at high bitrates for even crisper visual and audio effects.
