Office 365 Client Management

An important factor to secure systems and user data is to update Office 365. Updating application Office 365 has been separated on the ConfigMgr server in order to ease the management of this process.

Deployment for Office 365 can be created under Software Library\Office 365 Client Management, and there are three options to choose from:

  • Creating a deployment of the Office 365 client
  • Creating Automatic Deployment Rules for Office 365 updates
  • Creating Client Settings

Note

Managing updates for Office 365 is not enabled by default in Client Settings. To make it available, Software Updates | Enable management of the Office 365 Client Agent in the Client Settings option should be enabled.
