Uninstalling a highly available VMM management server


When you have a highly available VMM server, to uninstall the high availability completely you will need to uninstall the VMM management server from each node in the cluster.

Before uninstalling VMM management server, ensure that any connections to VMM management server are closed.

How to do it...

Carry out the following steps to remove an additional node of a VMM:

  1. On a VMM highly available server node, in the Programs and Features folder (ControlPanel | Programs), click on Microsoft System Center 2016 Virtual Machine Manager and click on Remove features.
  2. On the Select features to remove page, click on the VMM management server and click on Next.
  3. On the Database options page, click on Next.
  4. On the Summary page, click on Uninstall and then click on Close.
