Understanding VCM Console

Troubleshooting not being able to see the Monthly option on the Schedule Job page 


Sometimes, it may happen that when we are trying to schedule something in VCM, when we are about to complete the wizard, on the schedule page, the Monthly option is disabled (grayed out), and we can't set a monthly schedule.

Getting ready

The Monthly scheduling option is disabled, as shown here:

How to do it...

The monthly scheduling option is disabled if the time zone setting of the VCM user launching the console is different from the VCM database's time zone setting.

Make sure the time zone of the machine that is used to connect to the VCM server is the same as the VCM database server's.
