AI is a very broad concept that involves machines being able to perform human-like tasks in a way that is considered smart. In computer science, AI research is based on the study of intelligent agents. A device is said to be equipped with AI if it learns from its environment and performs actions that increase its probability of successfully achieving its goals. In other words, the term AI is used when a machine imitates the cognitive functions performed by humans, such as learning and problem solving. AI has been around for a long time.
