Overview of this book

Setting up an approval activity


Approvals are a very critical part of any process. For instance, if you need a laptop, phone, or data card to work from home for your company, then an approval is mandatory from your reporting manager, but if your company is procuring a new laptop then an approval from your company's finance department would be mandatory.

Getting ready

To step through this recipe, you should have an active Service-Now instance, valid credentials, and an admin role.

How to do it...

  1. Open any standard web browser and type the instance address.
  2. Log in to the Service-Now instance using the credentials.
  3. On the left-hand side, type workflow and under Workflow, click on Workflow Editor.
