Summary

This chapter explained the configuration settings for the vSphere HA feature as part of Objective 9.1, covering admission control policies and heartbeat datastores. Objective 9.2 covered a new feature introduced in vSphere 6.5 that is only available for the vCenter Server appliance: vCSA HA. During the exam, you should expect some questions about these two topics, so make sure that you understand the different configuration scenarios.

Chapter 10, Administer and Manage vSphere Virtual Machines, will walk you through the administration and management of virtual machines as part of Objective 10.
